Opening a dialogue with customers is what I do for a living. Currently, I’m a UX Researcher at Stash. I spearhead talking to our users about how investing plays part in their finances (if it does at all), and how they feel about preparing for their financial future.
When I run into someone, I go, “ope!” because the Midwest trained me that way. I earned my Masters degree in HCI & Social Computing in 2016 from a badass program at the University of Michigan. I have also just recently curbed my impulse to greet people in elevators (which, apparently, is not cool in this city).
On a personal note, I’m interested in film, television, typography, photography, video games, and relevant pop culture. I can also bake a crazy good batch of blueberry scones — if you even drop one hint, I will bring them the next time we meet. (Try me, I dare you).
